"Fuel for the everyday warrior. Woven from light, kissed by Baldr, and radiant enough to make the Sun Goddess, Sól, do a double-take."

⚠ WARNING: MAY CAUSE...
  • Spontaneous, glowing skin that may be confused for a divine aura.
  • An overwhelming urge to forgive your enemies (until the caffeine wears off).
  • The irresistible desire to lead a "new order" of coworkers to the nearest doughnut shop.

Best Served: At the very first crack of dawn, while staring down the darkness and realizing you're the most radiant thing in the longhouse.

The God Who
Came Back

Look, being the God of Light, Beauty, and Purity is a high-pressure gig. Baldr was so radiant that literal light shone from his skin. He was the most beloved being in the Nine Realms, until his mother, Frigg, accidentally missed a single sprig of mistletoe when asking all things to never harm him. Loki, being the cosmic trickster he is, turned that mistletoe into a spear and orchestrated a "prank" that literally triggered Ragnarök.

But death couldn't keep a good God down. Baldr is fated to return from the depths of Hel after the world's ruin to lead the new order.

This Colombian Single-Origin is inspired by that return, a brew so bright, clean, and alive it feels like a second chance at life. Or at least a second chance at surviving your 8:00 AM meeting. It's the "Divine Echo" for the warrior who needs to rise from the ashes of a bad night's sleep and conquer the morning with radiant focus.

Taste Notes
The sun-warmed brightness of a god who just crawled out of the underworld, dark chocolate on the way in, mango and peach as the cup cools, and a clean, clear finish that says I have returned, and I am ready for a refill.
Medium Roast ·
Tolima, Colombia
Baldr's First Light is a medium roast Colombian single-origin from the Tolima region, grown at 1,500–2,100 meters in the foothills of the Andes. Up at that altitude, the cool mountain air slows everything down, cherries ripen slowly, sugars concentrate, and the result is a cup with real complexity and a fruit-forward brightness that earns its name. Processed using the traditional washed and sun-dried method, this is a clean, transparent coffee that lets the bean speak for itself. Notes of dark chocolate, mango, and peach with a smooth, rounded body and medium acidity. It shines in a pour-over, holds its own in drip, and works beautifully black or with cream. This is the coffee you reach for every single morning, not because it's the loudest thing in the room, but because it's consistently, effortlessly radiant.
